It was a good trip for the 'three' of us! after hard days at work.. this beach holiday was something we've been looking forward to for so long.. cable car was fun.. but very scary for me.. i crossed the super duper terrifying bridge just for dear hubby... so he owed me big time!  Cruised all around the island.. and good weather...
next trip?? somewhere which requires passport!!! yippeeeee.............

The reception was held a week after mine.. on the 21st of January.. as it was during lunch hour, we decided to go in the morning instead of sleeping over in Perak.. It was a joyous ceremony.. with many local adats still taking place. the food at the meja pengantin was marvellous! hehehe... we had acara merenjis and later a photography session..
Overall, I had a really good time.. Got to know my other side of family.. and saw all the places that were important in mizan's childhood. I would say.. I couldnt ask for more..

this was my fifth raya in London.. somehow, it felt as if I have celebrated raya here for as long as i can remember.. insya Allah raya next year will be a different experience for me.. it is not a matter of better or merrier.. for i feel that things happen only if u make them happen.. and raya this year was one of the most wonderful raya that i have ever experienced.. selamat hari raya dan maaf zahir batin!

these are some of the many pics that we took while in paris.. the weather was good, cloudy with 30 mins rain which was well spent shopping for souvenirs.. it was my second time in paris, the first for yati... we had fun.. running like mad, mengejar train eurostar... it was a day well spent..

as promised, these are the hantaran pictures. it was 5 berbalas 7.. the theme colour was peach and white cause i love white sooooo much.
the hantarans from my side were self created by my mom, sister and me. so be warned that it might be simple. though actually that was what we wanted to create, simple and nice.. or, simple yet elegant.. the outcome is for the receiver's to judge..
mizan's hantarans were decorated by a professional, her sister..

this was taken a long time ago.. in february, when mizan's family first came to merisik.. bak kata org, collecting information about the girl the guy is interested in. tak upload dulu sebab the ceremony was not known publicly..
the theme was pink, basically.. from top to bottom.. i guess it is world wide known that pink is my wardrobe colour.. (but not my favourite colour)
the event was smooth... alhamdulillah.. and it led to the joyous event on the 28th June 2005

here are some pictures from the engagement day. it was a very good day.. weather was good (a bit hot) and the food too. things went well according to plan. the pictures of hantarans, unfortunately were not taken using digital camera... so, i am not able to upload it.. sowwy! but this is especially to frens in the UK who are not able to attend...
